What is the best headphone brand?

You might think 'Beats' by Dr. Dre are the best, and they certainly are very good. But in my opinion, 'Bose' are the best, but at a price. Bose headphones are the pinnacle of headphone quality, with clear sound, and great sound cancelling. Here's some information about the brands and their prices:

1. Bose - A private corporation based in Massachusetts. Often thought of as the upper class of headphones,                Bose is an expensive brand. However, the quality, great comfort and excellent sound cancellation                  is worth it if you have the money to spend.

2. Sennheiser -  A German audio company who make consumer headphones, but also make products for                              businesses, for example, the aviation industry. Sennheiser have good headphones at a m                                cheaper price then Bose.

3. Beats - A company based in Santa Monica, California, and was founded by Dr. Dre, a rapper. Beats in                   my opinion are more about the brand then the product. While they still provide great sound, and                   look good, I think its better to go for Bose or Sennheiser.

Battlefield 4

Having played Battlefield 4 on PS4, I have some points to make.

The game that had (and still has) bugs is still being played. I didn't get on launch date, so I was spared the problems of what in my opinion a game that was released to early. Someone from Dice, the Swedish game developers who developed the Battlefield series, said that they believed the game needed another six months until it would've been fully completed. The people who published it, Electronic Arts (EA) are to blame. EA own Dice, and are known to be money hungry. The Fifa games often need more work, and cause a lot of people to throw their controllers at screens. So with Battlefield 4 being hyped up as a Call of Duty killer, they wanted the game to be released shortly after Call of Duty: Ghosts was released. This plan seemed to backfire, with people who had bought the game experience regular game crashes and bugs. This seemed to deter a lot of people from buying the game, and people who had bought it from playing it

Many patches have been bought out to try fix these problems. Once they fix one thing however, another bug appears. Dice have also come under a lot of criticism even though they bring out these patches because they are releasing extra content for the game, some of which has been accused of being unfinished or half done.

In my opinion, the game is still fun, despite its problems. I feel the recent patches addressing net code improved general game play despite the fact that there are still big problems with the kill cam for example. Once you see past those, I feel the game is fun and enjoyable. Here's the multiplayer trailer

Saving Private Ryan

We're thrown instantlly into the action of WWII. No messing about with the characters back stories or some tragic event, there in a boat which is about to land at Normandy. They leave the landing boats, and we instantly see who's incharge and the character flaws. With scenes that bring home how bad it was on Omaha Beach, and the courage it took to run up the beach and through barbed wire, is maybe one of my favourite opening scences in a film (despite it being a long one).

After the fast pace action of the beach scene, it is slowed down nicely, giving us time to look at the characters and learn about them, aswell as to understand the plot of the whole film: to save Private Ryan. This isn't your standard war movie, the epic battles (that sniper battle is pretty epic) are seperated by points were the characters are explored more. This film is a recent classic,

Hot Rod

It would be hard for this film to go wrong with actors like Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Bill Hader and Danny McBride playing the characters of Rod, Kevin, Dave and Rico respectively. So having watched this film recently again, I decided to review a classic in my opinion.

Rod wants to be a stuntman just like his father. He jumps across local pools and has his own stunt team. However, his father died and he doesn't get along with his step-father, who doesn't appreciate Rod's efforts to please him. Rod though will soon have to prove his worth.

The film is very funny, but this is expected from two of the 'Lonely Island' members. The small jokes keep a smile on your face until the big comedic events, such as a two-minute plus hill fall. The story itself is also good, rather then just being a carrier for the comedy. With a fun twist on the whole old high school crush idea but with a stunt man twist.

Fast & the Furious 6 - "Furious 6"

Another Fast and Furious movie you say?!? Having seen the previous films, I knew what to expect. But in fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the film.
Set straight after the last film, we see all the characters enjoying themselves after stealing a lot of cash from a vault. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is living a quiet life, and Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) has just had a baby with Mia (Jordana Brewster). The rest of the crew are off spending their money in casinos or flying around the world. All seems to be going well for Toretto, until Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), head of an elite crime unit, arrives with a brown envelope. It contains photos of Letty (Michelle Rodigruez), who was 'killed' in a previous film. Hobbs informs Toretto that she is part of an expert driving crew who are stealing high-tech weaponry, and that he needs Toretto's team to re-assemble to tackle these expert criminals.

First thing, you shouldn't go and watch this film expecting to be amazed by a gripping storyline or beautiful cinematic shots. You should expect some cool cars taking part in crazy car chases (I enjoy these) with a storyline just to justify the reasons for the chase. However, I feel with Furious 6 it has more then some of the previous films. Even though there's nothing new and unique about the bad-guy-gone-good-for-pardon storyline, it is still enjoyable, having been helped by the cheesy lines from Toretto and Hobbs which only they could say. The car chases are more exciting in my opinion as now we have two expert teams of drivers taking each other on, providing more of a challenge for them both but also adding to the thrill of the chase. There's now beautiful cinematic shots, no ideas not seen before, but this is part of the Fast and Furious series. Furious 6 is a great film to watch and be entertained, as long as you don't start picking the film apart (the 27 mile runway is an exception) and expect new ideas from it either!

Elysium

The latest from director Neill Blomkamp, Elysium is a sci-fi thriller set in 2154. Bringing in present day social problems such as overcrowding and class division, Elysium starts of by following ex-convict Max (Matt Damon) working at a factory that produces robots. These human-like machines act as policemen but are as well as brutal. Max is lucky however, as he has a job. Many people in Mexico City live in slums and don't have any money and revert to crime to pay bills. Things start to look better for Max as he also meets his childhood crush Frey (Alice Braga). She has returned after becoming a doctor and is working in a hospital nearby. She also has a child, who has a fatal illness.
The rich no longer live on earth anymore. They live on an orbiting satellite called Elysium, protected by the head of security Delacourt (Jodie Foster). They have all the food and space they need, and will not die as machines can cure any sickness, even cancer. People on earth don't have access to any of these machines, so people pay lots of money in smuggling operations that take them to Elysium, which more often or not fail due to Delacourt's ruthlessness. Max joins this group of people after an accident at work leaves him with only a few days left to live. One thing leads to another and Max finds himself in trouble.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's squeamish or doesn't like a lot of swearing. You see people blown up right before your eyes and parts of bodies flying in the air (I personally don't mind the realism). In pretty much every scene there is some swearing. My Gran doesn't approve of all the violence and swearing.
The film highlights modern social problems brighter then day, but still doesn't try anything too brave or original.
The film does keep you entertained for 109 minutes, but won't go down as a classic sci-fi movie. This isn't the first film which has come out recently which is too afraid to be original, mainly due to the amount these films take to make ($115 million for Elysium). But still a fun film to watch, so here's the trailer:
